The ancient Jayda temple, located in the tranquil banks of river Subarnarekha, is barely one km off the Ranchi-Jamshedpur Highway. The bridge on the river fails in Jayda and the temple is about 500-700 meters towards downstream from the bridge. The original temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, is about half a century old. It is about 36 KMS from Jamshedpur.
